The project has developed a luminaire suitable for use in Zone 1 and Zone 21 hazardous environments.
The expected calculated lifetime of the product is in the order of 100,000 hours due to the LED light source and the carefully designed cooling, which significantly exceeds the lifetime of luminaires with conventional light sources.

The lamp has an aluminium housing and a coated polycarbonate optical front. The lamp has the highest environmental resistance characteristics: IP66 ; IK09.
Main applications of the LED lamp
- spaces with limited air space, e.g., electrical distribution cabinets, natural gas metering stations, manholes
It is designed to fit into very tight spaces of limited size. Its directional light and pivoting mounting bracket make it ideal for targeted illumination, e.g. to assist maintenance work in confined spaces.

HUNLED-EX TUBE LED tube light
The project has developed a family of explosion-proof LED luminaires to replace conventional fluorescent luminaires in Zone 1 and Zone 21 hazardous locations.
The lamp is essentially a linear design, known as a “tube lamp”. A great advantage of this type of lamp is that it can be used in a wide range of applications, with a wide variety of mounting methods, mounting positions and orientations.

The lamps use state-of-the-art LED technology, which means that their life expectancy significantly exceeds that of conventional light sources.
Main applications of the LED lamp
- The lamp is an excellent replacement for conventional fluorescent lamps (2x18 - 2x58W)
- For general illumination of technological sites
- The materials used (marine grade aluminium, polycarbonate) make the product suitable for use offshore
- In addition to ATEX certification, which is typically accepted in the European Union, the product is also IECEx certified worldwide
